This is my goal for writing:Use language that is suitable to the topic, audience and purpose.
For writing this week we had to do an information report. We got to chose out of a historical event, animal or a country. I chose to do a report on Budgies. This is because in lockdown, a blue Budgie landed in our backyard. We now have it in a cage. I wanted to learn more about them and what they can do.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Hi Amelia
ReplyDeleteYou have a great understanding on how to write an information report and covering the goal for your writing. The report was informative but also interesting and I loved the photos! I did not realise you can tell the difference between a male and female budgie by their cere. That's really neat that you have been able to gather information about a bird in your care so you have a better understanding of it as well. Did you have the cage already at home or did you have to arrange to get it? I hope you enjoy your time getting to know the budgie

Hi Katrina
ReplyDeleteWe did not have a cage so we put it in the cat carrier. Dad brought a cage of trade me. we got it a few days later. He does chirp a lot.
